Shopify POS prints one gift receipt for the whole order. When a customer buys presents for several people, that means one receipt listing every gift. Lilya: POS Gift Receipts lets staff split the order right after the sale, or later from the order: one receipt per item, all items on one, or any mix.
Each receipt prints without prices on the receipt printer paired with POS, with an optional recipient name and a personal message. Your logo, store name, exchange deadline and return policy are on every receipt.
The order barcode is the same as on Shopify’s own receipts, so staff can scan a gift receipt in POS to find the order when the gift comes back for an exchange.

Which printers does it work with?
The receipt printer paired with Shopify POS on the device (Star or Epson models supported by POS). Without one, staff can print through the device’s print dialog.
Can staff print gift receipts for older orders?
Yes, from the order in POS, for orders from the last 60 days.
Can a gift receipt be used for an exchange?
Yes. The barcode is the same as on Shopify’s own receipts, so POS finds the order when staff scan it.
Does the app store customer data?
No. It reads the order’s items when printing. Recipient names and messages are printed and then discarded.
Is there a free plan?
